32-bar jig for three couples in a four-couple longwise set
1 – 8 1st couple set and 1st woman, followed by her partner, casts off two places, crosses over below 3rd couple, casts up and dances in to face first corner. 1st man dances up the middle of the set to face his first corner. 2nd couple step up on bars 7-8.
9 – 12 1st couple and first corners set and, 1st couple, pulling back by the right, dance around each other and out to finish in partner’s first corner position. At the same time, first corners dance in towards each other and, pulling back by the right, finish back to back in the middle facing own places. (Fig.)
13 – 16 1st couple and first corners set and first corners, pulling back by the right, dance around each other and out to finish in opposite corner’s position. At the same time, 1st couple dance towards each other and, pulling back by the right, finish back to back in the middle facing second corners.
17 – 24 1st couple repeat bars 9-16 with second corners and pass each other by the right to finish in second place on opposite sides.3rd, 1st and 2nd couples face clockwise.
25 – 28 3rd, 1st and 2nd couples dance clockwise halfway round the set.
29 – 32 2nd, 1st and 3rd couples, giving right hands, turn once round.
Repeat, having passed a couple.

5 – 8 First man, passing right shoulder, dances round his first corner, while first woman does the same round her first corner. First couple finish back to back in centre, man facing down, woman facing up.
9 – 12 First man dances 3 hands round with third couple, and first woman with second couple, to finish turning by the right, to face each other in the centre. First man facing up, first woman facing down.
13 – 16 First couple set to each other, then, with both hand joined, dance a ¾ turn to face first corners.
17 – 24 First couple turn first corners by right hand, partner by left hand, second corners by right hand and partner by left hand to finish facing first corners.
25 – 32 Reels of 3 on the side, first couple passing left shoulder to first corner to begin. First couple, giving right hand, cross to own side, 1 place down

The Manual of Scottish Country Dancing:
Bars 5–8 1st couple pass each other with the left shoulder to dance round first corner and must phrase these four bars carefully to finish back to back in the middle by pulling back the right shoulder on bar 8, 1st man facing down, 1st woman facing up.
Bars 15– 16 1st couple open out on bar 16, 1st man retaining his partner’s left hand in his right to assist her to face her first corner.

Devised by Eddy West 2004.
1 – 4 First couple cross and cast off one place, second couple step up on bars 3 and 4.
5 – 8 First couple dance half figures of eight, lady around the second couple, man around the third couple. At the same time second and third couples set and cross giving left hands.
9 – 12 First couple dance half diagonal rights and lefts with second lady and third man.
13 – 16 First couple dance half diagonal rights and lefts with second man and third lady.
17 – 24 Third, first and second couples dance set and rotate.
25 – 32 Second, first and third couples dance six hands round and back.
Repeat having passed a couple.

9-16 1st and 2nd couples allemande. On bars 15 and 16, 2nd couple retire to first place while 1st couple turn right hand to join left with their first corner ready for.
17-18 1st couple with 1st corner balance in line.
19-20 1st couple turn right hand to give left to 2nd corner.
21-22 1st couple and 2nd couple balance in line.
23-24 1st couple turn right hand to 2nd place own side.
25-32 1st, 2nd and 3rd couples circle round and back.
Repeat having passed a couple.
